What to know about Shiny
- Legendary slot of the Rainbow Box (5%).

- Together with Heat, it survived the switch from the Chroma Box to the Rainbow Box, only retextured.
- Replaced the MLG knife for copyright reasons.
Shiny guide
Shiny exists because of a copyright problem. The wiki notes it replaced the knife MLG due to copyright reasons. The texture made for Shiny when the Chroma Box was released was designed by ArcticMage and uploaded to Roblox on November 14, 2015.
Survivor of a box change
When the Chroma Box was removed and replaced by the Rainbow Box, almost everything in it was replaced or taken out. Shiny and Heat are the only two items that were not: they simply received new textures. That makes Shiny one of the few weapons that carried over from one box to the next.
Getting it today
Shiny is the Legendary slot of the Rainbow Box, which is sold in the shop at 1,000 Coins, 100 Diamonds or 1 Mystery Key per opening, at a 5% chance. Trading is the other route.
Appearance
The whole knife is covered in a shiny rainbow texture, which is where the name comes from. The wiki shows both the current texture and the original one, so older screenshots may not match what you see now.
