How to get Crab Boss
No longer playable in public servers (the infobox says it was removed after the KJ update; Trivia says removed December 21 2024). The boss can still be spawned in private servers with the Private Server+ gamepass (499 Robux, 'Spawn Crab' command), and the Characters page says it is also playable in the Catalogue. Originally the boss spawned on the beach every few minutes (Characters page: every 30 minutes) and the top 3 damage dealers after it was killed got it as a one-time-use playable character, equipped from the character menu if no other Crab Boss was active.
Passives
Chaotic Claws
The Crab's M1s: a Sweep over a wide area (10.8%), a Slam into the ground (25%) and a Double Slam (28.5%). The Characters page notes its M1s are slower than other characters'.

About Crab Boss
The Crab Boss was a creature before it was a character. In public servers it spawned on the beach (every few minutes by one wiki page, every 30 minutes by another), and the top three players by damage, once it was killed, got it as a one-time-use playable character. That is gone: the infobox says it left public servers after the KJ update and the trivia gives December 21 2024. It can still be spawned in private servers with Private Server+ (499 Robux, Spawn Crab command), and a trivia line says that after a May 30 2026 update it is playable from the catalogue, which the Updates page does not confirm.
As a player it is slow, 6.5 tiles wide and 3 tiles high, and the wiki gives it 1200 health (player versions roughly half of the NPC's). It takes no knockback and cannot be rolled or ragdolled, but it cannot dash, emote or block. Chaotic Claws uses one of three M1 attacks: Slam 25%, Sweep 10.8% or Double Slam 28.5%. Its four moves are Pincer Barrage (up to 46.5%, 17.5 seconds), Giant Leap (29.5%, 20 seconds), Acid Spit (18%, 11.5 seconds) and Laser Claws (up to 50% in full, 30 seconds). None of them can be blocked. No awakening appears on its page.
What the wiki notes
- Boss infobox: slow (player walk speed), 6.5 tiles wide and 3 tiles high, hitbox directly under the mouth, health '500%, before 1200%' and it is not one-shot by most one-shot moves.
- Pros list says it has 1200 health (player Crab Bosses have about half the health of NPC Crab Bosses) and deals exceptionally high damage; every attack is unblockable, has a huge AoE and ragdolls.
- It cannot be rolled or ragdolled and takes no knockback (except certain projectiles), but cannot dash, emote or block, and has no way to regenerate health.
- Cons: most moves are predictable with long windups, it is a one-time-use character (die and you must be a top-3 damage dealer again), awakening bar resets on transforming, and attacks can be countered or negated by back-dashing (lasers excepted).
- It can be stunned after taking certain damage or hits, which makes it take roughly double damage.
- Most one-shot moves do not one-shot it; 20-20-20 Dropkick (KJ) is the only one-shot that counts as direct damage.
- The NPC version is described as broken (it stays still while its hitbox moves).
- Animations are mostly from Dark Souls 3 and Elden Ring crabs; Giant Leap and Laser Claws are original.
Where the wiki disagrees
- Availability: the infobox says it is no longer in public servers after the KJ update; Trivia says removed December 21, 2024 but spawnable in PS+ private servers; Cons say 'Currently unplayable'; another Trivia line says that after a May 30, 2026 update you can play it from the catalogue (the Updates page has no May 30 2026 entry; its latest is May 17 2026); the Characters page says 'Admins' and 'Playable in Catalogue'.
- Spawn interval: infobox says every few minutes (longer in private servers); Characters page says once in 30 minutes.
- Health: infobox says '500%, before 1200%'; Pros say 1200 health with player Crab Bosses at roughly half of NPC health.
- Debut: infobox says August 11, 2024; the Updates page has no August 2024 entry and does not mention the Crab Boss being added.
- Laser Claws damage cell is written in three parts (0%-30% lasers, 20% ending explosion, 50% full damage); the infobox damage list shows 25%, 10.8%, 28.5%, 46.5%, 29.5%, 18%, 50%, consistent with the tables.
- Characters page lists the Crab Boss's four moves but not Chaotic Claws; character page counts Chaotic Claws as a passive. It has no awakening or wall combo on the page (Cons note the awakening bar resets when transforming).
