Free; it is the only character that is free by default and the one equipped automatically the first time you join the game.

Awakening Gain: the damage needed to fill the awakening meter drops from the standard 350 points (450 for Brutal Demon) to 200 points, and landing finishers fills the meter by a large amount.

Base moves

M1 The Strongest Punches β€” A four-hit sequence of side-to-side strikes with a fast swing rate and fast startup.

  • 1Normal Punch

A slow wind-up right-arm punch to the torso that creates a shockwave and sends the target flying.

    • Cannot be blocked
    • Long wind-up
    • Does not damage ragdolled targets (only knocks them slightly forward) but damages airborne ones normally
    • Can hit multiple targets
    • Can be countered
    • Shock Wave Β· 10.5% β€” The outermost part of the punch with the longest range; if only the shockwave hits, the target tumbles. Shares the 20 Seconds cooldown (rowspan in the table). Can be blocked, does no damage to ragdolled targets, can be countered.
31%; 20% (if the opponent dodges before hitting a surface); 11% (damage taken by the opponent upon hitting a surface after the punch)CD 20 Seconds
  • 2Consecutive Punches

A rapid string of punches that stuns the target.

    • Stuns opponents who are not ragdolled
    • Pauses the M1 reset timer
    • Can hit downed opponents
    • Can be blocked
    • Can be countered
    Up to 14.5%CD 15 Seconds
  • 3Shove

An elbow strike that sends the target flying back and rolling along the ground.

    • Unblockable
    • Reflects projectiles
    • Knocks down a standing opponent; a rolling opponent becomes ragdolled
    • Wall impact adds damage but does not stun
    • Can be countered
6.9%; up to 12.9% (if the opponent crashes into a wall and takes impact damage)CD 10 Seconds
  • 4Uppercut

A powerful right uppercut that launches the target high into the air.

    • Unblockable
    • Hits grounded opponents
    • Slow startup
    • Target can evade while rolling in mid-air
    • Vulnerable to being counter-hit
    15%CD 20 Seconds

Awakening

G Serious Mode

Meter: 200 damage points (standard is 350; Brutal Demon needs 450)

Duration: Infinite (lasts forever unless you die or use a move)

Activating it (0% damage, no cooldown) gives armor during the clasp-hands animation but no invincibility frames, and you cannot regenerate HP while it lasts. You get one awakening move per activation (Death Counter, Table Flip, Serious Punch or Omni Directional Punch), each single-use; the three M1-based moves (Serious Slap, Serious Sneeze, Serious Trashcan) do not consume the awakening. Landing an awakening move heals you.

Awakening moves

  • 1Death Counter

A 10-second counter stance with no visible indicator to others; if you are attacked, you teleport behind the attacker and kill them with a Serious-Punch-style cutscene.

    • Window and animation last 10 seconds
    • Some attacks cannot be countered
    • Invincibility frames during the animation
    • Infinite range
    • If the opponent disconnects during the cutscene the attack still triggers but you lose invincibility
Instant KillCD One Time Use; 20 Seconds With Infinite Awakening
  • 2Table Flip

A wind blast pushes enemies back, then the user rips the ground upward, launching players and rubble. Damage depends on how many players are caught and their distance.

    • Animation lasts 8.5 seconds
    • Push happens immediately
    • I-frames during the animation
    • The push can be blocked (21 damage, knocks forward, no stun)
    • Stuns Tech Prodigy's Iron Giant 1.5 times longer
    • Armor Break (first hit only)
Instant Kill (nearest enemy); farther enemies take reduced damage (second-nearest takes 95 damage, 116 including knockback damage); 21% (Push)CD One Time Use; 20 Seconds With Infinite Awakening
  • 3Serious Punch

A cutscene punch: a gust pushes opponents back, then a slow wide-range punch hurls them away and leaves a huge crater. Damage depends on distance and nearly triples if the target is hit by the opening wind.

    • Animation lasts 9.5 seconds
    • Push lands 1.5 seconds after activation
    • I-frames during the animation
    • The push can be blocked (11 damage, knocks forward, no stun)
    • Armor Break on the punch part only; vs an armored target it deals no damage and only cancels the action (wiki says this is likely a bug)
12%-70%; 2-60% (excluding terrain collision damage); 210% (if stunned by the push), 221% including the push; 200% (if stunned by the push, excluding terrain collision), 211% including the push; 11% (push); 10% (terrain collision after the punch, none if the opponent uses a move with evasion, armor or i-frames before colliding)CD One Time Use; 20 Seconds With Infinite Awakening
  • 4Omni Directional Punch

The user stomps the ground, then leaps between debris leaving afterimages, attacks from all sides and ends in an explosion. The grab range is about four squares in front of you.

    • Invincible during the animation except the last 0.5 seconds if it misses
    • Launches nearby players into the air after the leap (no damage)
    • Armor Break (only on the damaging hit)
Instant Kill; 30% (Missed)CD One Time Use; 20 Seconds With Infinite Awakening
  • β€”Serious Slap

Awakening M1-based move triggered by the short uppercut: the user chases a mosquito and slaps the opponent miles away.

    • Does not consume the awakening, so you can use another move afterwards
    • After an M1-based special you cannot use Serious Sneeze or Serious Trashcan, nor Serious Slap again
    • No armor on use
24% (damage of the slap plus the uppercut that triggers it)CD N/A
  • β€”Serious Sneeze

Awakening M1-based move (the special wall combo): the user pins the opponent against an object and sneezes on them, sending them flying.

    • Does not consume the awakening
    • After an M1-based special you cannot use Serious Slap or Serious Trashcan, nor Serious Sneeze again
    • No armor on use
    40% (damage of the sneeze)CD N/A
  • β€”Serious Trashcan

Awakening M1-based move when holding a trash can: the user hurls it with great force (a special cutscene plays).

    • Does not consume the awakening
    • After an M1-based special you cannot use Serious Sneeze or Serious Slap, nor Serious Trashcan again
    • Weakest awakening move in the game according to the wiki
    • No armor on use

About The Strongest Hero

This is the only character that costs nothing by default: the game equips it automatically the first time you join, and the wiki lists its former name as Bald Hero. It is built on Saitama from One-Punch Man, and the kit reads like it.

The four base moves are Normal Punch (31%, 20 seconds cooldown), Consecutive Punches (up to 14.5%, 15 seconds), Shove (6.9%, up to 12.9% if the target hits a wall, 10 seconds) and Uppercut (15%, 20 seconds). The wiki lists the lowest average base cooldown in the game at 16.25 seconds and says every base move can extend a combo, but it also notes very little range, no mobility and no armor-gaining base skill. Its basic moveset totals 67.3 damage, sixth in the wiki's ranking.

The passive Superhuman drops the awakening meter from the standard 350 damage points to 200, the lowest in the game, so Serious Mode comes around faster here than for anyone else. It lasts until you die or use a move, and each activation gives you one single-use awakening move: Death Counter (an instant kill from a 10-second counter stance), Table Flip, Serious Punch (12% to 70% depending on distance) or Omni Directional Punch (an instant kill). Serious Slap (24%), Serious Sneeze (40%) and Serious Trashcan (15%) are triggered through M1 and do not use up the awakening. The wiki recommends the character to beginners and experienced players alike.

What the wiki notes

  • Wiki lists the lowest average base-move cooldown in the game: 16.25 seconds.
  • Fastest awakening gain in the game (200 damage instead of 350) and the 2nd fastest M1 speed.
  • Base kit has short wind-ups and every base move can extend a combo, but it has very little range, no mobility and no armor-gaining base skill.
  • Serious Mode can only land one awakening move per activation (plus one M1-based special) and prevents killing with M1s alone (leaves the target at 1%) until a Slap, Sneeze or Trashcan is used.
  • Awakening moves are mostly uncounterable by Death Counter/Death Blow and Table Flip, Serious Punch and Omni Directional Punch bypass armor.
  • Death Counter can be bypassed by many moves of other characters (full lists on the wiki page), including Snowballs and several armored or indirect attacks.
  • Finisher thresholds: Normal Punch 20%, Consecutive Punches 14.5%, Shove 9.9%, Uppercut 15%.
  • All base moves can damage ragdolled players (except the indirect Normal Punch).

Where the wiki disagrees

  • Wall combo: the intro text says a 'special wall combo called Serious Sneeze' exists in Serious Mode, while the base wall combo in the move table is 'Light Sneeze' 12% (~6 s) and Serious Sneeze (40%) is listed as a separate awakening move.
  • M1 passive: this page's Trivia says it is one of only 5 characters without an M1 passive (others: Deadly Ninja, Brutal Demon, Wild Psychic, Tech Prodigy); Deadly Ninja's page says it is one of only 3 (others: The Strongest Hero, Wild Psychic), and Deadly Ninja's infobox lists Ninjatō (its M1 name) as a passive.
  • AoE ranking: this page says Serious Punch has the 2nd biggest AoE (after KJ's Unlimited Flex Works, followed by Sorcerer's Erase and Destructive Cyborg's Incinerate); Destructive Cyborg's page says Incinerate has the 2nd most AoE and Serious Punch is the 1st.
  • Slots 'null' = Serious Slap, Serious Sneeze and Serious Trashcan, which the move table lists after the four numbered awakening moves but which are M1-triggered specials, not numbered slots on the Characters page.
  • Release date of Serious Trashcan/Sneeze/Slap: Updates page entry sits under the 2024 tab (December 21 2024 heading) with no specific day inside the entry.
