Escape Artist โ In-Depth Analysis
The Escape Artist is a class in 99 Nights in the Forest that costs just 10 diamonds. It spawns with no extra items and relies entirely on three perks about avoiding danger. At level 1 it reduces the hunger penalty you normally pay for sprinting; the wiki describes this as 10% less hunger lost while sprinting.
Level 2 makes enemies that are chasing you slightly slower, and it unlocks after you get away from enemies that had been chasing you 20 times. Level 3 makes enemies need to be slightly closer before they can see you, and it requires 50 successful escapes of the same kind. It was one of three classes added in the New Classes update and event that ran from September 5 to 12.
The wiki considers it especially good in multiplayer, where one player can distract enemies while teammates loot. Playing solo is described as impractical, although a fast player can sometimes loot a place and leave without fighting at all. In its favor, the price is very low and, unlike most classes, upgrading it to level 3 is considered worthwhile. It also gets compared favorably with the Camper, which costs the same. The main drawbacks are the lack of starter items and its limited value on solo runs.
