Cyborg Strategy & Best Use

Let's get one thing straight: Cyborg is the final gatekeeper of the First Sea, perched in front of the Workshop in Fountain City. You need to be at least Level 675 to start farming him efficiently, and his HP pool is the largest of any First Sea boss. Kills pay out 20,000 Beli, a fat 10M XP chunk, and his one and only real prize, the Cool Shades accessory, drops at a brutal 1–2% rate. Respawn sits at 30–35 minutes per server.

Strategy-wise, Cyborg punishes greedy melee. His Rocket Barrage tracks hard and his Rising Attack combos you into the wall, so kite from mid-range. Buddha awakening trivializes him — fat hitbox tanks the rockets while you facetank with Superhuman M1s. If you're a fruit main, Dough, Dragon, or Light all melt him in under 90 seconds; gun mains should run Kabucha + Death Step and abuse the peninsula edge to bait his charges off the map.

The Ice Castle confusion comes from the Cyborg V3 race puzzle, which is the real reason most players grind him: that quest chain lives in the Second Sea's Hot and Cold island, requires a Fist of Darkness, and ends with Arowe asking for any physical fruit + $2M. The boss himself has nothing to do with it. Best farming pattern: server-hop after every kill once shades drop or the respawn timer hits, run Observation Haki to dodge his telegraphed wind-ups, and stack the 2x XP code with a Cake raid Saturday — you'll hit Level 700 in two clean runs.
