Mirage Island — In-Depth Analysis
Mirage Island is a Third Sea sea event, and it behaves unlike any other island. It is where the Advanced Fruit Dealer and the Blue Gear for Race Awakening are found. It can spawn if you sail a boat in Sea Danger Level 2 to 6, and the wiki calls it one of the rarest sea events. It has no cooldown between spawns, can show up by day or night, and every player in your Sea Exploration Group nudges the chance up slightly. Once it spawns, it despawns after 15 minutes or if the player who spawned it is no longer near it, including when that player dies or disconnects. For Race Awakening you need a Mirror Fractal and the Sealed King quest started, then you go to a high point at night and activate your race ability while looking at the moon for about 5 to 15 seconds. When the moon shines, find the blue glowing gear before the island disappears; it vanishes when night ends. Touching it lets you pull the lever at the Temple of Time. To find the island, Buddha's zoom helps, and Portal's V or C can despawn other sea events that get in the way.
