Diamond (Boss)
Description
Dropped by Diamond, one of the tougher bosses roaming the Kingdom of Rose, the Longsword is a rare sword that rewards players who can handle a proper mid-game fight. Because it comes from a boss kill rather than a shop, there is no coin price to worry about — just survival. As a sword, the Longsword scales with your Sword stat, so stacking Sword Mastery through repeated combat will steadily improve your damage output. Its two moves, Annihilate and Glorious Smash, suggest a hard-hitting, forward-pressure playstyle built around closing distance and landing heavy strikes rather than poking from range. For players grinding in the Kingdom of Rose, the Longsword is a solid pickup if Diamond happens to drop it. Its rare rarity puts it a cut above common blades, making it worth keeping in your loadout while you build Sword Mastery toward stronger options.
Moves & Abilities
3 movesThe player does a stab, 2 swipes, then performs another stab.
The user dashes towards their cursor, then sends out a green slash that deals damage and creates temporary grass as it flies near a surface. If an enemy is hit by the dash, they become briefly stunned, take some extra damage and deal decent knockback.
The user jumps over the enemy, dealing damage and creating a grassy area launching the target upwards. If there is a player on top of them at the start of the leap, the user will drag the player that is in contact with them alongside the leap.

Longsword — In-Depth Analysis
What Is the Longsword?
The Longsword is a Rare-rarity sword found in the Second Sea, obtainable by defeating the Diamond boss in the Kingdom of Rose. It's one of the more approachable Rare drops in that sea — Diamond is a regularly-contested boss, and low mastery requirements mean you can start using the Longsword effectively soon after you claim it.
Role and Who It's For
The Longsword leans into utility and mobility rather than raw damage. All of its moves carry AoE, which is useful for farming groups of Second Sea NPCs. One of its skills provides a short-range dash that doubles as a mobility tool — handy for gap-closing or quick repositioning between island platforms. Decent knockback helps control spacing in shorter engagements.
The limiting factor is damage: it underperforms compared to other Rare swords in the Second Sea, so players prioritizing raw kill speed will want to look elsewhere. Close-range orientation also puts you at a disadvantage against opponents who can keep distance. That said, the combination of AoE, low mastery requirements, and built-in mobility makes it a smooth transitional pick between First Sea carry weapons and the heavier Legendaries you'll eventually chase.
- All moves have AoE; efficient for multi-NPC farming routes - Built-in mobility skill provides a short dash for repositioning - Lower damage ceiling than Rare peers — best as a bridging weapon
Tip: Use the Longsword's dash skill to close the gap on fleeing enemies in open-world PvP; the movement it provides lets you follow opponents across short water gaps without burning your Blox Fruit's movement cooldowns.
