Savory Charm guide
Savory Charm is a one-use life insurance: when an attack would kill you, you survive and become invincible for 10 seconds. It can activate only once per round, and it does not protect against Lethal attacks, which in the current roster means Twisted Dandy and Twisted Dyle. The wiki treats it as a survival Trinket that works with any Toon, to be saved for dangerous encounters rather than spent on the first scrape.
The benefit grows when a Toon is likelier to be on 1 heart. The wiki names Cosmo, who gives hearts away, and the Main Toons, which it says have 2 hearts at most, so every hit is more dangerous for them. Because most regular Toons have 3 hearts, the charm costs a slot most of the time for a safety net that may never fire, which is why the wiki concludes it is usually not worth a slot.
You unlock it with 100% Research on Twisted Sprout, a Main Twisted (spawn weight 0 at the start, one forced every 20 floors), so expect a long road. Sprout's detection range is 28 circular and 60 direct, modest next to Pebble's 125. It was added on August 14, 2024 with Blushy Bat, Fishing Rod, Sweet Charm and Vanity Mirror. No Ichor price.
