How to get Research Map
- 200 Ichor
Research Map guide
Research Map exists to shorten the grind for every other Twisted Trinket: every 10 seconds during a match it highlights all Research Capsules on the floor. Each Capsule gives 1% Research on its Twisted and 2 Ichor, and the game places 2 Capsules per Twisted present, so a floor with four Twisteds holds eight Capsules worth 8% and 16 Ichor. At 100% needed for each unlock, that is a significant shortcut, and it is the cheapest way to work on a Rare or Main Twisted.
The wiki recommends it to beginners for exactly that reason: it costs only 200 Ichor, no floors and no Research, and it returns more Ichor and Research for the Toons and Trinkets they want next. It also helps with Mastery quests that ask for 125 Research Capsules, for Toons such as Rodger, Blot, Looey and Yatta. Players on high graphics settings may find that shadows hide Capsules in corners, which the highlight solves.
If you have no Research left to earn, the wiki says it is not the best choice. It was added on July 3, 2025, alongside Cooler, and it is on sale in the Store today, at the same price as Coin Purse.
