Best trinkets in Dandy's World: the short answer
If you want one pick per slot and no reading: Savory Charm (survives one fatal hit per round), Vee's Remote (completes the first Machine of a floor instantly), Wrench (cheap, 325 Ichor, a large chunk of the first Machine of a floor), Thinking Cap (+40 Skill Check window), Cooler (+50 Stamina), Star Pillow (double stamina regeneration while extracting), Train Whistle (immune to Slow), Paint Bucket (+10 percent Skill Check size and chance with no penalty), Mime Makeup (a failed Skill Check no longer alerts Twisteds) and Blushy Bat (free, adds 3 seconds to a Twisted's attack cooldown). Every one of them has a clear effect, none has a large penalty (Cooler costs 5 percent speed, and Vee's Remote only works while under half the Machines are done) and all can be obtained as of Alpha 0.29.10 (October 23, 2026).
That list is a ranking by criteria, not by match results. Nothing here comes from in-game testing; every figure is from the wiki. The wiki's trinket pages give the numbers and this guide checks them against the stat scales in the wiki's Statistics page. The rest of this guide shows how the criteria work, then gives every trinket in the game, by category, so you can judge every placement for yourself.
How the ranking works: four criteria
- 1Size against the stat scale. A flat bonus means more to a 1-star Toon than a 5-star one, and a percentage bonus does the reverse. Stamina goes from 100 at 1 star to 200 at 5 (25 per star), Skill Check window from 50 to 250 units (50 per star), running speed from 20 to 30, and Extraction Speed from 0.75 to 1.5 units per second on a 45-unit Machine. So Cooler's +50 Stamina equals two stars of Stamina, Thinking Cap's +40 window units is 0.8 of a Skill Check star, and Machine Manual's +5 percent Extraction Speed saves about two seconds on a 3-star Toon's 45-second Machine.
- 2Penalties. Several trinkets trade one stat for another (Blue Bandana, Participation Award, Magnifying Glass, Cooler, Coal, Brick). A penalty does not rule a trinket out, but it moves it down the ranking.
- 3Availability. Eight of the 57 trinkets in the game cannot be obtained today: the Easter and Christmas event trinkets. A ninth entry, Night Cap, no longer exists (removed in 0.9.1 and replaced by Star Pillow), so it is not in the tables below. The four Halloween event trinkets are obtainable until the 2026 Halloween Event ends on November 6, 2026.
- 4Cost. Standard trinkets cost Ichor (200 to 2,750) and sometimes a milestone. Twisted trinkets cost nothing in Ichor but need 100 percent research on a Twisted, which the wiki's own math puts at about 14 appearances of that Twisted for a normal Toon.
How trinkets work: slots, loadouts and the two types
You can equip 2 trinkets at a time, and you cannot change them once a run starts. You can save up to 3 loadouts and swap between them in the lobby (the loadout screen moved into Profiles in 0.27.1). The wiki counts 4,422 possible pairs, though that figure predates several newer trinkets.
The wiki sorts trinkets into six categories: Skill Check, Movement Speed, Stamina, Stealth, Extraction and Other. Counting what is in the game today, the split of the 57 is 5 Skill Check, 10 Movement Speed, 9 Stamina, 3 Stealth, 5 Extraction and 25 Other. This site's data also keeps the removed Night Cap, which makes 58 entries with 10 in Stamina. The wiki's own trivia line (18 Other) is out of date, because it predates the later event trinkets.
Standard trinkets (16 in the data, 15 in the game; the extra entry is the removed Night Cap, which the data files under standard although the wiki lists it as an Astro research reward) are sold in Dandy's Store for Ichor, with one exception: Blushy Bat is free if you join the BlushCrunch Studio Roblox group, and it is the only trinket you can lose again by leaving the group. Twisted trinkets (42) are rewards for 100 percent research on a specific Twisted. The wiki says they are generally stronger than store ones, and the two best research rewards in the ranking below, Vee's Remote and Savory Charm, support that. The easiest research bars to fill belong to the Common Twisteds, since they spawn most often.
Buying every store trinket costs 14,525 Ichor. The full price list:

Best Skill Check trinkets
Skill Check trinkets change how big the window is and how often a check appears. Thinking Cap is the clean option: +40 units of window with no penalty, and it needs 750 Ichor plus 30 finished Machines. Paint Bucket adds 10 percent to both size and chance (the 0.26.1 update raised it from 5 percent) and is free from Brusha's research. Participation Award raises chance by 25 percent at the cost of 10 percent size, which suits a Toon with 4 or 5 Skill Check stars. This is a deduction, not a wiki statement: more checks help a Toon who hits them and hurt one who misses them.
Mime Makeup is the odd one. It does not touch the window, but a missed check no longer sends Twisteds to your Machine. For a Toon with 1 or 2 Skill Check stars (Blot, Cosmo, Shrimpo, Connie, Scraps and others) that removes the worst part of failing. Magnifying Glass adds a little completion per successful check and cuts the window by 33 percent, so it suits a Toon with a high Skill Check stat.
| Trinket | Type | Effect | How to unlock | Available now |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Thinking Cap | Standard | Increases Skill Check window size by 40 units. | 750 Ichor; Finish 30 Machines | Yes |
| Magnifying Glass | Twisted | Adds slightly more completion when performing a successful Skill Check, but decreases Skill Check size by 33%. | 100% Research on Twisted Rodger | Yes |
| Mime Makeup | Twisted | When failing a skill check the user will not alert Twisteds to their location. | 100% Research on Twisted Blot | Yes |
| Paint Bucket | Twisted | Increases Skill Check Size and Chance by 10%. As Brusha, receive a +25% speed boost for 5 seconds after a successful machine buff | 100% Research on Twisted Brusha | Yes |
| Participation Award | Twisted | Increases Skill Check chance by 25%, but decreases Skill Check size by 10%. | 100% Research on Twisted Shelly | Yes |
Best Movement Speed trinkets
Most of these are small percentages, which matters because the fast Twisteds sit between 24 and 26 and a 3-star Toon runs at 25. Vanity Mirror gives +30 percent run speed during Panic Mode. Glisten and Gourdy both enrage when it starts according to their pages, so that is a sensible moment for the boost (a deduction from those pages, not a wiki statement). Pull Toy and Alarm give +25 percent for 10 seconds when a new floor arrives and when Panic Mode starts. Clown Horn gives +10 percent on odd floors and Ribbon Spool +10 percent on even ones, so the two together are a steady +10 percent that uses both slots. Dog Plush (+10 percent walk) and Pink Bow (+7.5 percent run) are single-slot versions. Speedy Shoes (+5 percent, 400 Ichor) is the cheap start. Bone gives +25 percent for 4 seconds per Item picked up, stacking to a cap of 40 speed. Brick lowers speed by 10 percent, and its own description jokes about it.
| Trinket | Type | Effect | How to unlock | Available now |

Best Stamina trinkets
Cooler is the strongest flat gain: +50 Stamina, a 5 percent speed penalty, and a steep unlock of 2,250 Ichor, 250,000 meters traveled and 30 Rare-or-better Items. Speedometer (+15 for 450 Ichor, no milestone) is the budget option, although its own wiki page calls the gain small (about one second of running) and not recommended unless you have nothing else, and the wiki notes that Speedometer plus the Well-Paced/Endurance card gives a Toon an extra star of Stamina. Star Pillow doubles regeneration while extracting from a Machine, which fits a Toon that alternates between extracting and running (a deduction, not a wiki statement). Friendship Bracelet gives 5 Stamina per living Toon, capped at 40, so it needs eight survivors for the full bonus. Feather Duster restores 20 Stamina per Item picked up.
| Trinket | Type | Effect | How to unlock | Available now |
|---|---|---|---|---|

Best Extraction and Stealth trinkets
Vee's Remote completes the first Machine you extract from on each floor, but only while fewer than 50 percent of the Machines are done. A Machine takes 30 to 60 seconds depending on stars, so it saves up to a minute once a floor. Wrench adds a large amount of completion to the first Machine of every floor for only 325 Ichor with no milestone, which is why it ranks above Machine Manual (+5 percent, 350 Ichor). Stress Ball stacks +5 percent per successful Skill Check for 15 seconds. Blue Bandana gives +7.5 percent Extraction Speed but cuts Skill Check chance by 5 percent.
Stealth has one trinket you can get today. Diary (Flutter's research) adds 25 percent, and the wiki points out that a 5-star Stealth Toon like Connie reaches a sixth star with it. The wiki also notes that Dandy's Store sells no Stealth trinket at all.

Best "Other" trinkets
These are the trinkets that change the rules instead of a stat. Savory Charm (research on Twisted Sprout) saves you from one fatal attack per round and gives 10 seconds of invincibility, though it does not stop a Lethal Twisted. Train Whistle (Twisted Dyle) makes you immune to Slow, which Vee, Bassie's vines, Finn's puddles and Rodger's fake capsule all apply. Cardboard 'Armor' blocks ranged attacks once per floor but needs Goob and Scraps at 100 percent as well as 2,750 Ichor. Blushy Bat adds 3 seconds to a Twisted's cooldown after it hits you. Dandy Plush gives a 50 percent discount in Dandy's shop. Spare Bulb widens Blackout light radius by 25 percent, and Party Popper highlights nearby Twisteds when you start a Machine.
The four Halloween trinkets work as follows while the event runs. Bone Needle and Thread highlights Pumpkins and Halloween decor every 10 seconds, Memory Locket highlights healing Items while you are hurt, Moon Pack Heirloom shows teammates for 3 seconds after any Machine finishes, and Soul Sword slows an attacker by 15 percent for 30 seconds (and gives Soulvester an extra heart).
