How to get Wrench
- 325 Ichor
Wrench guide
Wrench is the cheapest way to start every floor ahead: for 325 Ichor, with no floor count and no Research, it instantly adds a large amount of completion to the first Machine you extract from, once per floor. The Trinket does not publish the amount as a percentage, and the wiki compares it to a Jumper Cable, an item that adds 33% progress to the Machine you are using. If it matched that 33%, it would remove about 20 seconds from a 1-star extractor's 60-second Machine, though the wiki gives no exact figure.
That head start matters most for the Toons with the slowest passive filling, Pebble, Razzle & Dazzle and Shrimpo, and least for fast extractors like Vee, Glisten, Squirm and Yatta, who finish a Machine in 30 seconds anyway. Vee's Remote does the same job better, since it completes the Machine outright, but it needs 100% Research on a Main Twisted, while Wrench is a purchase anyone can make on their first day.
It sits in the lowest price tier of the Store, with Machine Manual at 350, Research Map and Coin Purse at 200. It has no downside and is on sale now. Because it fires once per floor, it scales with how many floors you clear.
