Stress Ball rewards a streak of good Skill Checks: each successful one adds +5% Extraction Speed for 15 seconds, and the stacks add up. After a success there is a 4-second cooldown on default and circle machines (4.8 on Treadmill), so at best about four hits fit inside one 15-second window, which means roughly +20% if every check lands. On a 5-star extractor that turns 1.5 units per second into about 1.8, taking a 45-unit Machine from 30 seconds to 25. On a 1-star extractor it goes from 60 to about 50.
The effect is conditional on landing checks, which makes it a natural partner for a wider window or a higher chance. Squirm, whose Twisted unlocks it, already has 5 stars of Extraction Speed and 3 of Skill Check. The Toons with the most to gain are the ones that mix both: Shelly, Gigi, Waxwell, Gourdy and Soulvester have 5 stars of Skill Check, and Gourdy and Soulvester also have 5 of Extraction Speed.
