Cringle

Cringle is a short yellow elf who runs the show in Cringle's Workshop, the Christmas vision of DOORS. The event was live from December 19, 2025 to January 12, 2026, and the vision was added back to the game on February 5, 2026. Cringle has two pointy ears, beady black eyes and thin brown lips, and wears a green coat with a dark-green pocket, a furry turtleneck and a green sleeping hat with two holes to see through. He speaks entirely in lowercase and is the first character in DOORS to use slang.

What he does in the vision

When you enter door 1 of The Lodge, a cutscene shows Cringle placing the last present on a pile just as Krampus Figure crashes through the roof on a sleigh. Cringle ends up knocked onto a chair near the exit, on the mezzanine, and stays there. You can interact with him to hear his dialogue, and he has unique lines if you hold a Gift, Bread or buddies.

How the exit opens

You must collect 12 Gifts for one player, 16 for two, 24 for three or 32 for four or more, and place them in the center. Once every required Gift is down, Cringle uses "peppy-mint magic" to detonate the exit door. His farewell mentions Krampus even though the monster despawns by then.
