Subzero Screech

Subzero Screech is a snowman head with six icicle-like tentacles, black eyes, a hat and a carrot nose, and it is the Christmas version of Screech in Cringle's Workshop. The wiki calls it a major antagonist of the vision, which ran from December 19, 2025 to January 12, 2026 and came back on February 5, 2026. It is hostile and lethal.

Same trick as Screech

It works exactly like regular Screech. A sound cue plays to say it is about to attack, and you have to look at it fast enough. If you spot it in time, it flees. If you do not, it jumpscares you and deals 40 damage. A Crucifix can banish it and disable it for a while, which also makes it unusual: most of the Workshop's threats are about hiding or staying quiet, and this one is about reacting.

Overlapping threats

It can show up while Frozen Ambush is active, so you may need to hide and spot at the same moment. If you keep dying to it, the death messages are revealing: the first one reads that [GIGGLE]... [SCREECH]? gives conflicting information, and the second states that the entity attempts to sneak up on prey and that you must spot it to make it flee. Listen for the cue the moment the room goes quiet.
