Paper Cup

The Paper Cup is a small cone-shaped cup that shows up only in The Archives, and only on Water Coolers, where cups spawn in groups right beside the cooler. A cup can be filled twice from a cooler, and what happens when it is drunk depends on which two waters went in. It counts as an Important item, so it does not take extra inventory slots, and the Briefcase refuses to hold it.

The water combinations

The wiki's table uses three colors of water and lists these results:

• Red and red: 1.5 HP of damage
• Red and blue: heals 1 HP
• Blue and blue: 0.5 HP of damage
• Red and purple, or blue and purple: 5 HP of damage
• Purple and purple: 10 HP of damage

The table's footnotes say the numbers come from drinking cups and then restoring the damage with other combinations, so they are measured values rather than official ones.

Pros and cons

Cups are very common, and spamming them can heal a notable amount at each cooler. The catch is that most combinations hurt, cups and water run out quickly, and using them all is time-consuming.

Leaving the floor

The liquid does not carry over to other floors, and the wiki lists a bug that makes the water vanish when exiting The Archives.
