Auric Angelfish guide
The Auric Angelfish is a Rare catch that sells like something rarer. It is found in asol, using Coral, during the Day, in Clear weather and Summer. The in-game note calls it a regal angelfish with a deep, polished gold sheen, and the price is where that shows up.
Its price per kg is C$74.286, so the average sale is C$334.30, ranking 438th of the 742 documented fish. That sits in the upper-middle of the table, which is a nice result for a fish of 2 kg to 14.7 kg, averaging 4.5 kg. Its max weight ranks 427th of 663, so it is an average-sized catch that happens to pay well. It also gives 360 base XP, a generous reward.
No other fish of the same rarity and no rods are listed for the zone, so you will be relying on the gear you bring along. The Coral bait is the single item you need to prepare in advance.
Verdict: a good one to chase in the summer. The combination of XP and a sale of over C$330 makes it a strong all-round catch. Fish it on a clear day and enjoy the results.
