Voidfin Mahi guide

Voidfin Mahi has the tightest weight profile you will see on a Rare: it averages 12 kg and the range is only 11.7 kg to 13.2 kg. Every one you catch is nearly the same size, so what you see is what you get.

It lives in Vertigo and takes Truffle Worm. Weather must be Clear or Windy, the season is Spring, and the time of day does not matter. That flexibility on the clock makes it easier to schedule than a fish locked to the night.

At C$29 per kg, an average catch is worth C$348, 431st of 742 documented fish by value, and it gives 400 base XP. Its maximum weight ranks 434th of 663, so the value comes from the price per kilogram rather than from size.

Two rods are sold in Vertigo: the Nocturnal Rod and the Aurora Rod.

Verdict: a dependable mid-range Rare. The 400 XP is the part worth noting, because it is a lot of experience for a fish that sells for under C$350. Pack Truffle Worm and fish Vertigo on a Spring day with clear or windy skies.
