Borealis Snapper guide
Glacial Grotto is the home of Borealis Snapper, a Legendary fish that appears on clear winter nights when you fish with Fish Head. Those four conditions together make for a precise window.
It averages 154 kg, and the lightest recorded specimen weighs 88.2 kg. The price is C$21.88 per kg, so the average sale is C$2,800. Of the 742 documented fish, that puts it 231st, comfortably in the upper third. The base XP is 1,200. No maximum weight is recorded, so the heaviest possible catch is unknown, and the average is the best guide to what you will land.
The wiki lists no other fish of its tier in the grotto, and it does not name any rods sold there, so this is a catch you plan for with your own gear.
Fish Head is the same bait that other Legendary night fish ask for, which means one stock can serve several targets. If you are already out in winter, wait for a clear night and cast for it. At C$2,800 per average catch, it is a better use of Fish Head than most fish of lower rarity.
