Deep Behemoth guide

Start with the bait: Deep Behemoth takes Truffle Worm, not the Fish Head that some of its neighbours use. It is a Legendary fish from Atlantis and the Poseidon Trial Pool, active at Night, with Any weather and Any season. Its in-game text calls it a creature of "terrifying proportions" with ancient origins from Poseidon's earliest creations.

It weighs 300 to 600 kg and averages 438 kg, but the price per kg is only C$6.67. An average catch is still worth C$2,920 and pays 2,000 base XP. That average value ranks 230 of 742 documented fish, in the top third, while the max weight ranks 183 of 663.

The same zones list Abyssal King, Deep Emperor, Kraken's Herald and Thunder Serpent at the same rarity. You can buy Abyssal Specter Rod, Champions Rod, Depthseeker Rod or Tempest Rod there.

Because it is not a heavy-tailed fish, expect your catches to land near the average rather than at a huge outlier. For a Legendary this pays well and rewards XP generously. If you are already fishing Atlantis at night, swapping to Truffle Worm for this catch is worth the bait.
