Glacial Grotto guide
Borealis Snapper is the best catch in Glacial Grotto: a Legendary averaging C$2,800, about five times the next fish. Frostbite Flounder follows at C$562.5, then Shiverfin Haddock at C$354.2, Glacier Swordfish at C$249.2 and Chillback Whitefish at C$203.
Six fish are documented: one Legendary, three Rare, one Unusual and one Uncommon. There is no Mythical or Exotic rung, so the ceiling is modest, and three Rare fish clustering between C$249 and C$563 gives the zone a steady middle. Frostling Goby, Snowgill Dace, Ice Walleye and Icefang Barracuda are also listed locally, along with Icebeard Shark, though no price is documented for them in this zone.
Practical details: a bait crate is available, there is no crab cage and no rod is sold. The people on site are an Inn Keeper and three Hikers, numbered 10, 11 and 12.
Verdict: a good fit for newer players or anyone who wants a low-pressure cold-water trip. The numbers are small, but the Borealis Snapper gives it a real top prize. If you already fish for bigger fish elsewhere, this is not where your best income will come from.
