Cactus-Feeder Barb guide

Cactus-Feeder Barb lives in Drylands, where it is an Uncommon fish drawn to fallen cactus needles. The listing calls for Cacti Pulp as bait, Clear weather and Summer. Without all three you are guessing, so bring the pulp before you start.

Its weight ranges from 1 kg to 8.4 kg, averaging 2.5 kg. The maximum ranks 479th of 663 fish, so it is a middling size. The average value is C$68.80, which is 627th of the 742 documented fish. Base XP is 70.

Three other Uncommon fish share the zone with it: Bone-Plate Dace, Mirage Fin and Silt-Crusted Carp. They are your most likely neighbors on the line.

Honestly, the barb is not much of a prize. Its value per kg is about C$27.50, and the fish sits in the bottom fifth of the table. It makes sense to catch it as part of a regular Drylands session rather than to go looking for it, and to sell it only when you need quick cash.
