Chillin' Crab guide

Fischfest 2 is where the Chillin' Crab turns up, and only under a specific set of conditions: Day, Tropical Sun weather, Summer and Tropical Fruit Mix as bait. The wiki pictures a crab in a Hawaiian shirt with a tiny drink, which is about as relaxed as a Limited fish gets.

Do not expect much from the payout. It averages 2.5 kg (1.5 kg to 7.4 kg) and sells for C$128.57 per kg, so an average catch is worth about C$321. That ranks 441st of 742 documented fish, and its top weight sits at 499th of 663. Base XP is 300. In other words, you catch it for the event, not for the profit.

The same zone also lists Beached Relic, BBQ Bass, Beach Bucket, Beach Towel, Coastal Crate and Cooler Catfish at Limited rarity, so you will be pulling in plenty of themed items while you wait. Floatie Rod and Starshell Rod are sold in the area. A sensible plan is to fish with the right bait and weather for the crab, keep one for completion, and sell extras without agonising over it.
