Coastal Crate guide

Coastal Crate shows up during Fischfest 2 in Summer, and it is one of the Limited-rarity catches of that event zone. Unlike most fish it has no weight spread at all: minimum, average and maximum are all 8 kg, so every crate is identical. At C$62.5 per kg it sells for a flat C$500, with 300 base XP.

That flat payout puts its average value at 390 of 742 documented fish, a bit better than the middle. Its maximum weight ranks 493 of 663, so it is light for the table.

Fischfest 2 shares this rarity with Beached Relic, BBQ Bass, Beach Bucket, Beach Towel, Chillin' Crab and Cooler Catfish, so a session there fills several slots of the same tier. The zone also sells two rods, Floatie Rod and Starshell Rod, which is handy because you can buy your gear without leaving.

The in-game text jokes about a "souvenir you'll never use." Sell it for the C$500 if you only want cash, but keep one if you are collecting the event set.
