BBQ Bass guide

BBQ Bass is a Fischfest 2 fish you can still catch, and it asks for a very specific setup: Magnet bait, Night, Tropical Sun weather and Summer. The wiki says this bass brought its own grill and smells like charcoal and good times. It averages 6.25 kg, within a range of 4 kg to 17.9 kg.

The payout is moderate. An average sale of C$426.5 ranks 410th of 742 documented fish, and base XP is 400. Its maximum weight is 414th of 663 fish with a recorded maximum, so its price and size rank almost the same. That is the typical profile of a middle-tier event catch.

Within the zone, it shares the Limited rarity with Beached Relic, Beach Bucket, Beach Towel, Chillin' Crab, Coastal Crate and Cooler Catfish. Beached Relic is the one that outearns it by far, at C$15,000. Floatie Rod and Starshell Rod are sold in Fischfest 2.

The practical question is whether to hunt it on purpose. Because it needs night and Tropical Sun together, I would only chase it if you are already fishing the event for the Relic. As a side catch, it adds a bit of C$ and some XP; as a main target, it is not worth the conditions.
