Cusk Eel

Cusk Eel is a Rare fish from Sunken Reliquary. It takes Squid at Night in Foggy weather during Winter, and the description mentions a long, slender eel-like fish with a distinctive whisker on its chin. It is a bulky one: 500 to 4,200 kg, averaging 1,250 kg.

The price per kg is very low, C$0.18, so an average catch sells for only about C$225, and it pays 215 base XP. Its average value ranks 474 of the 742 documented fish, below the middle, while its max weight ranks 113 of 663, which is in the top fifth for size. That mismatch is the whole story: it is a big fish that barely pays.

The entry names no other fish at the same rarity in the zone and no rods sold there, so there is nothing to compare it with locally.

My advice is to skip it if you are fishing for coins. You would need Squid, Night, fog and winter all at once for a C$225 sale and a modest 215 XP. If you are working through Sunken Reliquary for other reasons and it shows up, selling it is fine, but there is no reason to hunt it.
