John Dory guide
John Dory is an Uncommon fish of Sunken Reliquary with a clear set of conditions: Minnow as bait, Clear weather, Day, and either Spring or Autumn. The game describes it as a thin, disc-shaped fish with a prominent black spot on its side.
As a money fish it is weak. The average John Dory weighs 5 kg and sells for C$96.90, ranking 592nd of the 742 documented fish by average value. The largest recorded reaches 16.8 kg, 417th of 663 for weight. It pays 95 base XP, and the price works out to C$19.38 per kg. Those are numbers for the lower end of the listing.
The only other Uncommon fish in the same zone is Porcupinefish, so a Minnow-baited session during a Spring or Autumn day gives you a short list of possible catches. That is useful if you are filling out a collection of Sunken Reliquary fish, because the conditions are friendly and the pool is small. For anyone chasing XP or coins, there are better targets: this is a collection catch. Keep it to complete your list, or sell it when your bag is full and move on to something that pays more per cast.
