Omnithal guide
Omnithal lives in the Sunken Reliquary and, according to the game, guards the deepest, oldest wrecks. It is an Exotic Hunt fish that wants Luminous Larva as bait, Night, Foggy weather and Winter, so four conditions have to match before it can bite.
The weight is absurd. An average Omnithal is 275,000 kg, the minimum is 90,000 kg and the maximum reaches 2,982,000 kg, which is 10th of 663 by max weight. Its price per kg is low (C$0.105), so the average fish sells for C$28,875, ranking 66th of 742 documented fish by value. Base XP is 33,500.
Notice how the weight and the payout disagree: it is among the heaviest fish documented but only in the top tenth by value, because each kilogram pays so little. The size matters for the fight, not for the wallet.
Verdict: prepare Luminous Larva before heading to Sunken Reliquary and pick a foggy winter night. The reward is solid XP and a decent sale, but it is a trophy more than a farming target.
