Jungle Phantom guide

Jungle Phantom is gone from the game as far as players are concerned: it is marked as unobtainable, so you cannot catch it today. What remains is its record. It was a Mythical fish of Lushgrove, tied to Rain, Night and Summer, and caught on Lushrooms.

The numbers show why people remember it. An average fish weighed 110 kg and sold for C$1,650, ranking 279th of the 742 documented fish by average value. The maximum, 336 kg, ranks 216th of 663 for weight, and each catch gave 1,200 base XP. Its price works out to C$15 per kg, so it was a heavy fish valued for its weight rather than for a premium rate.

The in-game description paints it as a green fish with light green fins that fades into the jungle depths like a specter, which fits a fish that needed rain and darkness to appear. For a player today, the value of this page is reference. If you find a Jungle Phantom in an inventory trade or screenshot, you know what it was: a rare, rain-night catch worth well above the average documented fish, now impossible to fish up.
