Mossjaw
“A hulking, moss-covered predator that lurks the deep within the jungle. Its scales are heavy with age, and its jaws snap through trees as easily as bone. Few dare the temple at night, for the Mossjaw waits there, patient and merciless.”— in-game Bestiary description

Mossjaw guide
If you want an Exotic fish with serious weight, Mossjaw in Lost Jungle is one to look at. It bites on Glowworm bait at Night, and the wiki tags it as a Hunt fish, meaning it is a deliberate target rather than a random bite.
Its size is the headline: 500,000 kg on average, and a maximum of about 1,000,488 kg, which puts it 22nd of 663 fish by maximum weight. The price per kg is low at C$0.314, but multiplied out it gives an average value of C$123,403, 23rd among the 742 documented fish. Base XP is 100,000.
The zone itself gives you gear to work with: Azure Of Lagoon and Tranquility Rod are the rods sold in Lost Jungle. Nothing in the data says either is required, so use whichever you already own, but it is convenient that the place where Mossjaw lives also supplies rods.
Verdict: this is a high-value target for players who can handle very heavy fish and are willing to fish after dark with Glowworm in the inventory. Its value places it close to the top thirty overall, so one catch can fund a lot of bait. If you only fish by day, you will never see it, so plan your session around the night cycle.
