Opah

Opah is a Rare fish with strict conditions: it lives at Collapsed Ruins, takes Squid as bait, and only bites during the day, under clear skies, in Autumn. Miss any one of those and you will not see it. It is a disc-shaped, warm-blooded fish with bright red fins, weighing 3 to 21 kg (average 6.5 kg), and it sells for an average of C$312 at C$48 per kilogram, with 290 base XP.

Those stats are decent for a Rare without being special. The average value ranks 445th of 742 documented fish, which is close to the middle of the pack, and its maximum weight ranks 390th of 663. The XP is the better part of the package: 290 base XP is more than a catch of this size would suggest.

Because the conditions stack, think of Opah as a target for a planned Autumn session, not something you stumble into. Bring Squid, wait for a clear day, and fish at Collapsed Ruins. If the weather is wrong, switching to another zone is a better use of time.

Verdict: worth the setup if you want Rare-tier XP and a C$312 sale in the same catch. If you only want quick C$, the strict window makes Opah awkward, and a fish without conditions will fit your schedule more easily.
