Parrotfish guide
Crystal Bananas are what you need for Parrotfish, a Limited catch from the Animal Event that is currently obtainable. It belongs to the Second Sea and bites at any time of day, but only in Windy weather during Summer. The game describes a vibrant fish with a beak, squawking through the coral reefs.
A typical Parrotfish weighs 8.25 kg (4.5 to 25.2 kg) and sells at C$23.333 per kg, C$192.5 on average. That is 496th of 742 documented fish by value, while its max weight is 375th of 663. Base XP is 880.
Capybass, Cluckfin, Crocokoi, Duckfin Tuna, Krabbit and Kittyfish are the other Limited fish documented at the Animal Event, so you will be competing with six other event catches for bites.
Verdict: of limited use as income, but 880 XP is a fair reward for a small fish. Aim for a windy summer day, keep Crystal Bananas ready, and treat the sale as a bonus. If you are collecting event fish, it is an easy one to tick off.
