Random Rod

Random Rod has an unusual price: its listing gives a range of 1 to 10,000,000 C$. That range is the one fact about cost on record, so how much you actually pay can land anywhere inside it.

The reason people look at it is Luck. At 350, it ranks 4th of 184 obtainable rods, ahead of nearly everything else. The rest of the profile is unremarkable: Lure Speed of 80 is 71st of 184, Control of 0.1 is 76th of 185 and Resilience of 10 is 129th of 184. It also has a passive.

So this is a Luck rod with average handling and a wide-open price tag. If you land near the low end of the range, it is an outstanding bargain, since few rods beat 350 Luck at any price. At the top end, you would be paying ten million for something whose other stats do not justify it.

Use it if you are chasing rare fish and can live with ordinary bite speed and control. If you need a predictable cost before buying, the uncertainty is its real drawback.
