Stone Rod review
At C$2,000, the Stone Rod is sold on Ancient Isle, and it is a rod you buy for one stat only: Control 0.2, which ranks 29th of 185 obtainable rods. Nearly everything else is weak. Luck is 40 (168th of 184), Lure Speed is -5 (179th of 184), and Resilience is 5 (152nd).
The drawback is real: the description says it is quite heavy, and the negative Lure Speed backs that up. In exchange it handles up to 50,000 kg, 45th of 117 rods with a listed limit.
Price comparison hurts it. Friendly Rod (Luck 105, C$0), Mission Specialist's Rod (Luck 60, C$0) and Original No-Life Rod (Luck 100, C$1) all offer more Luck for less. Krampus's Rod and Phoenix Rod are sold on the same island if you want to compare in person.
Verdict: skip it unless you specifically want high Control and a big weight cap on an early-game budget. For raw progression, those cheaper rods are the better first step, and the Stone Rod has no passive to make up the difference.
