Fischmas Rod

Fischmas Rod is a holiday-named rod that can no longer be obtained. The wiki tags it unobtainable and lists it at 799, so any price you remember is history, not an option. What is left is a stat sheet worth a quick look.

Luck is 45, Lure Speed is 10, Control is 0.05 and Resilience is 15, with a weight cap of 2,200 kg. In practical terms that is the profile of a modest, early-to-mid rod: not a luck machine, not a speed machine, and able to hold small and medium fish only. Nothing about those numbers would have been decisive.

That is worth saying plainly: even when it was around, the appeal was most likely the seasonal theme rather than raw performance. If you are reading this to decide what to buy, you can skip it entirely.

The better use of this entry is as a reminder to be careful with sellers or guides that list Fischmas Rod as available. If you need a rod with a similar profile today, look for obtainable options in the same price range and compare their Luck and Lure Speed before you spend.
