With no public seed cost listed, this is the kind of crop you acquire through limited shop rotations or event drops rather than the standard Sam's Shop loop, so its real "cost" is opportunity and timing rather than a fixed Sheckle price.

Economically, a Legendary melon shines once you can keep it under reliable mutation triggers. Melon-family fruit have generous size scaling, which means weight-based multipliers compound hard. Wet or Chilled from sprinklers, then a stacked Rainbow or Gold layer, can turn a single Crown Melon into a payout worth dozens of ordinary harvests.
