The Moonflower is a limited, multi-harvest legendary crop from the Lunar Glow Event, and that multi-harvest trait is the entire economic case for it. Unlike single-pick crops, it keeps producing from one planted seed, so the true return is measured per season of harvests rather than per fruit. A legendary that you only have to plant once amortizes its event-only acquisition cost extremely well over time.

Its classification as a Leafy, Night, Flower type is what makes it a mutation magnet. Night-type produce lines up with lunar and moon-themed event mutations, while the Flower tag opens it to pollination and bee-related boosts. Stacking a weather mutation on top of a Night-event mutation is where a Moonflower's per-harvest value spikes, so plant it under sprinklers and let event effects roll in before you sell.
