Starfruit

Starfruit sits in the rare upper tier of Grow a Garden economics: it is a limited, legendary, multi-harvest crop introduced during the Lunar Glow Event. That combination is what makes it valuable. Multi-harvest plants pay back their seed cost over many cycles instead of one, so even though Lunar Glow seeds were time-gated and not cheap, a single Starfruit becomes a long-term income engine once it matures and you simply collect from it repeatedly.

Its typing is unusually broad. Starfruit is tagged Leafy, Night, Sour, Sweet, Fruit and Tropical, meaning a wide range of type-targeted pets and tools will buff it. The Night tag is the key one: this crop is a natural target for night-event and moon-based mutations, and stacking those on a Tropical/Sweet base is where the real per-fruit value spikes.

For progression, treat Starfruit as a mid-to-late investment. Because it is event-limited rather than shop-renewable, it is worth growing the moment you own seeds, protecting it, and layering high-tier mutations before harvesting. Sell unmutated fruit only as overflow; the patient play is mutation farming on a plant you cannot easily re-acquire.
