Sun Melon — In-Depth Analysis
Sun Melon is a limited Rare crop from the second part of the Harvest Moon Event, added on August 8, 2026. It was tied to the Season 7 Season Pass in two ways: you could reach Level 14 of the pass to receive it, or open the Season 7 Seed Pack, where it had a 37.5% chance of appearing. The wiki says it is not currently obtainable, so this is now a plant you either already own or missed.
The wiki lists it as Fruit, Leafy, Night and Sweet type, which means items that target any of those types may apply. It is a multi-harvest crop, so a planted Sun Melon should keep supplying produce across harvests. A 37.5% pack chance was high for a limited seed, and that likely means more players hold one than for the rarer crops of the same event.
If you have one, it is worth keeping it planted, since the source is gone according to the wiki.
