Corrupted Zen Egg is the egg most Grow a Garden players end up opening first — its hatch table determines exactly which pets you can get from it.

Each opening is independent — your odds don't change whether you've opened 5 or 50 in a row without getting the pet you want. However, opening during special events can increase the chances of the rarer pets in the pool.

Corrupted Zen Egg is worth batch-opening during active events that boost rare pet odds. Outside of events, the strategy is stockpiling as many coins as possible before opening in bulk.

The Corrupted Zen Egg is a scrapped legendary egg that was supposed to be added in the second half of the Zen Update but was scrapped later before release.
