The Campfire Egg is a mythical-rarity egg introduced during Grow a Garden's Summer Camp Event. It cannot be purchased in any standard shop, making it a purely event-driven reward that tests player dedication throughout the seasonal update.
What it hatches. Opening a Campfire Egg gives you one of four Summer Camp pets at fixed probabilities: Cicada at 55%, Newt at 35%, Nightjar at 9.5%, and the ultra-rare Fire Wisp at just 0.5%. Every roll is independent, so no pity system is confirmed — streaks of Cicadas are expected and normal.
Rarity breakdown. The common outcome is the Cicada, whose Summer Buzz trait makes plants grow faster whenever it lands on them — solid utility for any garden. The Newt (35%) brings meaningful crop-duplication via Renewtal and bonus odds on Summer-type plants. Nightjar (9.5%) is a mythical pick that feeds on Moonlit fruits to buff your other pets. Fire Wisp at 0.5% is the rarest drop: a prismatic pet that stamps the Ember Variant onto plants and can even apply the Ember Pet Mutation to a level-100 pet, resetting that pet to level 0 in exchange.
Practical tip. Because Fire Wisp resets a pet's level to zero, think carefully before letting it run freely — use the Favorites lock on any pet you want to protect before deploying a Fire Wisp in your garden.
