The Fire Wisp is a Prismatic-rarity pet from the Summer Camp Event in Grow a Garden, hatching from the Campfire Egg at an extremely rare 0.5% hatch rate. This places it among the rarest pulls in the entire Summer Camp egg pool — statistically requiring around 200 hatches on average to obtain. Its 50,000 hunger capacity keeps it active through extended farming sessions without frequent feeding interruptions.

The Fire Wisp carries a dual-component ability. Heart of Fire occasionally applies the Ember mutation to fruits growing in your garden, giving crops a fiery visual mutation that carries solid trade value. The second component, Fireheart, is significantly more impactful and requires careful planning: it occasionally targets a random pet in your garden that has reached level 100 and does not yet have a pet mutation, then permanently applies the Ember Pet Mutation to that companion — but resets its level back to 0 in the process. This is a permanent upgrade to the pet's classification, but it costs all accumulated XP for that individual.

Understanding Fireheart before deploying the Fire Wisp is critical. You should only run it alongside pets you specifically want to receive the Ember mutation — never next to high-level companions whose accumulated XP you want to preserve. The recommended approach is to park designated level-100 "target" pets in your garden that exist purely to receive the mutation upgrade. Since Ember is a lasting improvement to a pet, the level reset is an acceptable trade-off when executed with intention. Given the 0.5% hatch odds, the Fire Wisp is one of the genuinely rare trophies of the Summer Camp Event.
