Monitor Lizard

The Monitor Lizard is a Mythical-rarity pet introduced in Part 3 of the Bizzy Bee Event 2026 in Grow a Garden. As one of the highest rarity tiers in the game, it is obtained exclusively through the Season Pass — not through egg hatching — making it genuinely exclusive to players who completed the Bizzy Bee Event 2026 Season Pass. Unlike most Mythical pets, there is no egg-based path to acquiring it.

Its ability, Solitary Monitor, is conditional but extraordinarily powerful. It only activates when you have exactly one Monitor Lizard in your garden — running a second one disables the ability entirely. Under that single-instance condition, the lizard occasionally eats a mutated fruit in your garden. Each mutation on that consumed fruit provides two ongoing boosts: it reduces pet cooldowns every second and increases plant growth every second. The more mutations stacked on the consumed fruit, the stronger and more sustained those dual bonuses become.

This mechanic directly rewards deliberate garden design. To maximize Solitary Monitor, grow heavily mutated fruits near the lizard — crops carrying multiple stacked mutations produce far stronger activation bonuses than singly-mutated ones. The synergy with mutation-generating pets is exceptional: pairing the Monitor Lizard with the Black Spotty Dragon or Fire Wisp creates a compounding loop where those companions apply mutations to fruits, the lizard consumes them, and the resulting cooldown reduction brings those same pets back to active state faster. For a Mythical-tier Season Pass exclusive, this synergy ceiling is genuinely high and rewards players who build around it rather than treating it as a passive filler companion.
