The Orange Tabby is a Rare pet from the Animal Update, hatched from the Rare Egg at a generous 33.33% chance. That one-in-three roll makes it among the most accessible pets in its tier: a couple of Rare Eggs will usually hand you one, so it costs little time or currency to bring online. For new players building a first real team, that low barrier is exactly the point.

The trade-off shows in its 1,500 hunger pool, which is small by mid-game standards. The Orange Tabby empties quickly and needs regular feeding to keep its passive alive, so it suits active play far better than long unattended AFK runs where it will starve and go dormant before bigger pets even dip.

On a serious team the Orange Tabby is a stepping stone rather than an endgame anchor. It is genuinely useful early while you stockpile fruit and chase rarer hatches, but as your roster matures a pet with a deeper hunger pool and a stronger economy passive will earn that slot instead. Keep one around for the easy availability, then graduate past it once you can feed and field higher tiers.
