About Mokou

Mokou, drawn from Fujiwara no Mokou of Touhou Project, is the odd entry in the roster. You cannot pick it: access is limited to the developers and contributors who worked on it, and the wiki marks its 100 HP as unconfirmed.

Most of its damage numbers are listed as unknown, so the picture comes from cooldowns and effects. The four moves are quick: Aetherflare Talon (3s), Phoenix Maelstrom (5s), Hexflare Charm (5s) and Scorchrise (8s). Phoenix Maelstrom ends in an uptilt kick that lets you follow with air M1s, and Blazing Soar drags stunned enemies upward for a longer air string. Scorchrise turns you into a flying orb with total immunity, which doubles as an escape.

The passive Restoration is the hook: you come back after every death, except from the void. The awakening, Immortal Blaze, plays both of Honored One's awakening sequences, then changes your M1 into a barrage of pink Danmaku bullets that delete opponents on contact, and the special toggles free flight with no listed endlag or cost.

The wiki names two limits. Falling into the void or dying inside a domain kills it for good, and it loses health when it misses, so even mid-combo you have to watch your HP.
