Color mutations

Rainbow
ร3.5Hatch roll ยท weight 1 / 100
Animated rainbow effect that continuously changes colors. Extremely rare hatch roll โ roll weight 1 out of 100.

Parasite
ร3Special source
Not obtainable through normal hatch rolls. Comes from its own dedicated Parasite Egg, obtained through the feeding event.

Fractured
ร2.75Special source
Not obtainable through normal hatch rolls. Can be applied to an egg with a Mutation Consumable for a 10% chance.

Scrambled
ร2.75Special source
Poison like effect. Currently obtainable via Dr. Scramble's Shop โ can be applied to an egg with a 10% chance.

Golden
ร2.5Hatch roll ยท weight 4 / 100
Shiny metallic gold texture with coin particles. Roll weight 4 out of 100.

Spirit Bloom
ร2.5Special source
Green spiritual effect. Currently unobtainable via normal roll โ obtained instead through the Sakura Incubator.

Bloom
ร1.25Special source
Cherry blossom petal particles. Likely gated behind the Sakura event rather than normal hatching.

Silver
ร1.2Hatch roll ยท weight 6 / 100
Shiny silver appearance with metallic reflections. Roll weight 6 out of 100.
Only Rainbow, Golden, Silver come from the normal hatch roll; their listed weights add up to 11 out of 100. The rest come from specific eggs, consumables, shops or events, as described on each card.
How to choose: mutation or weight?
Color and size multiply each other, but they are not equally easy to get. Of the 8 color mutations with a known multiplier, only Rainbow (ร3.5), Golden (ร2.5), Silver (ร1.2) can appear on a normal hatch, and their roll weights add up to 11 out of 100, so most hatches come out with no color at all. Rainbow is the ceiling at ร3.5.
Size is the lever people underrate. With the wiki formula, a pet about 7.6ร heavier than its base weight already earns ร3.5, the same as Rainbow, and at 10ร it reaches ร4.14. Past 125ร the curve flattens, so each extra kg adds less. When you decide which pet to keep, compare the full multiplier (size ร color), not the color alone: a heavy pet without a mutation can out-earn a light Golden one.
Mutations you apply to an egg on purpose (Fractured and Scrambled) are worth more on the egg of your highest base-income pet, because the multiplier scales whatever base it lands on. The calculator below lets you test a specific weight.
Consumable mutations announced in updates
Enchanted Mutation
Multiplier not documentedConsumable from the Butterfly Bloom event in the Enchanted Forest: catch butterflies with the Butterfly Net inside the Enchanted Tree and exchange them for it. The official notes say it has a 100% chance of working.
Update 7 notes โNitro Mutation
Multiplier not documentedConsumable bought with Trophies from the Nitro Race event, which starts every 30 minutes according to the official notes.
Update 8 notes โ
Neither multiplier has been published yet, so they are not among the cards above or in the count of mutations. They will be added when the wiki documents them.
Sizes and weight
Stacking Mutations and Sizes
A pet's weight has a major effect on final income, since size rolls are easier to obtain than rare color mutations.
Final income is calculated by multiplying the base rate by both the color multiplier and the size multiplier:
Final Income = Base Income ร Mutation(s) Multiplier ร Size Multiplier
To be more specific, each pet has a hidden base weight that correlates with their base income. Any pet under 125x the base weight is valued using this formula:
Money/s= Base Value * (Actual Weight/Base Weight)^37/60 * Mutation Multiplier(s)
Once a pet is above 125x the secret base weight, the game begins to apply diminishing returns. The formula is as follows:
Money/s= Base Value * Mutation Multiplier(s) * (Actual Weight/Base Weight)^2/5 * 125^13/60
This is a complex way to say that when you hatch an egg 100x base weight, you'll get ~17x base value, at 200x base weight it'll be ~23x and at 1000x base weight it'll be ~45x base value. The bigger eggs still continue to be worth more but the gain per kg becomes smaller and smaller.
Combination examples:
- Normal: $100/s (base, no mutation)
- Golden + Giant: 100 ร 2.5 ร 3 = $750/s (x7.5 total)
- Rainbow + Huge: 100 ร 3.5 ร 5 = $1,750/s (x17.5 total)
Calculated with the wiki formula
Size multiplier examples
Weight ratio = the pet's actual weight divided by its base weight. Up to 125ร the size multiplier is ratio^(37/60); above 125ร it switches to ratio^(2/5) ร 125^(13/60), so bigger pets keep earning more but each extra kg adds less.
| Weight ratio | Size multiplier | + Golden (ร2.5) | + Rainbow (ร3.5) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1ร | ร1 | ร2.5 | ร3.5 |
| 10ร | ร4.14 | ร10.3 | ร14.5 |
| 50ร | ร11.2 | ร27.9 | ร39.1 |
| 100ร | ร17.1 | ร42.8 | ร59.9 |
| 125ร(cap point) | ร19.6 | ร49.1 | ร68.7 |
| 200ร | ร23.7 | ร59.2 | ร82.9 |
| 1000ร | ร45.1 | ร113 | ร158 |
The wiki labels its income formula as beta, so treat these numbers as estimates. Multiply a pet's base income by the value in the table to get its estimated $/s.
