Rift Event

A Rift opens somewhere on the map every 30 minutes. Step inside, defeat the Overlord waiting there, and you'll earn Boss Tokens to spend in the Boss Shop.

Every Overlord you defeat also earns Boss Mastery Points. Progressing through the Mastery track unlocks increasingly valuable rewards, including eggs pre-loaded with the Fractured mutation.

A separate Rift sits permanently in the lobby. It asks for 3 random pets — hand them over, and it grants 1 exclusive Rift Egg in return.

Separate from the timed boss encounters, a permanent Rift banner rotates through three egg pools. Each pool draws its pets from a specific set of biomes rather than being tied to a single zone:

The Rift Sacrifice asks for pets tied to whichever banner is currently active. Each pool is split into three difficulty tiers based on how demanding the pets are to obtain:

Does applying a Mutation Shard work on eggs that are still growing? Yes — it works on both growing and fully grown eggs sitting in your pen, but there is only a 10% chance of it working.

Does pity reset when I leave or when the banner rotates? No — pity carries over regardless of leaving the game or the banner changing.

How do I actually use the Mutation Shard consumable? Walk up to an egg in your pen and interact with it — the shard has a 10% chance to apply the mutation to that egg.

What do I do once the boss faints mid-fight? The Overlord periodically faints during the encounter — when it does, hit its hand with the bat as it takes 100 damage with each hit.
