Bontany — In-Depth Analysis
The Bontany badge (an in-game spelling of "Botany") sends you into the fairy biome to revive the Mother Tree by making its thirsty roots touch water. At 2-star difficulty it pays 4 diamonds, and as a sweetener the revival also spawns a bonus chest, so the trip rewards you twice over.
The challenge is part navigation, part problem-solving. You first have to reach the fairy biome and locate the Mother Tree, then figure out how to route water to its exposed roots. This usually means manipulating the environment or carrying water to the right spot rather than a straightforward fight, which is why it sits at two stars despite having no boss.
Tip: scout the area around the tree for nearby water sources or channels before committing, since the solution hinges on connecting the roots to water with the least effort. Clear any fairy-biome threats first so you are not interrupted mid-puzzle, and remember to actually open the bonus chest that appears, leaving it behind wastes half the value of an otherwise tidy 4-diamond objective.
