Orienteering โ€” In-Depth Analysis

The Orienteering badge is a rescue objective rated 2 stars and worth 4 diamonds. To earn it you must bring all four Missing Children to your camp for the first time. The children are scattered across the map, often in dangerous or out-of-the-way spots, so the difficulty comes from the travel and protection involved rather than a single fight.

Each child must be located and then escorted back to camp, and escorting is the risky part: while guiding a child you are slower and more exposed to wolves and other threats. Clear the path of hostiles first, then move the child during daylight so you are not caught in the open at night. It is wise to rescue them one at a time and confirm each is safely home before heading out for the next.

Because it is a one-time "first time" requirement, you only need a single successful run that gathers all four. Keep your camp defended so a found child is not lost to an attack while you fetch the others, bring food and a weapon for the longer treks, and the 4-diamond reward is yours once the fourth child reaches safety.
