Homemaking — In-Depth Analysis
Homemaking rewards decorating. The requirement is to have at least 50 pieces of furniture at your base within one game, so the count has to be reached in a single run and not accumulated over several. It ties into the furniture systems the game added over time, such as the Furniture Trader and the Decoration update of September 6, 2025, which introduced more than 60 furniture items. A player who likes personalising the camp will progress toward this badge without any extra effort.
In the badge list it is rated at 2 stars of difficulty, with a reward of 5 diamonds.
The badge belongs to the permanent set of The Forest Wakes Up update (June 13, 2026). That same update moved decorator items into the supply crate, which is relevant context for anyone planning to fill a base with furniture. It carries two stars of difficulty because of the quantity involved.
