Volcanology

The Volcanology badge asks you to make 150 sacrifices to the Volcano, dropping Cultists (alive or dead) into its lava. Rated 2 stars, the challenge is not about combat skill but about patience and bookkeeping. The reward is a modest 5 diamonds, which signals this is a grind badge rather than a boss trophy: the difficulty comes purely from the sheer count.

The smart approach is to treat the Volcano as a disposal point throughout your normal runs. Cultists spawn and raid during Volcano-event nights, so every wave you defeat becomes ammunition. Rather than burning bodies or leaving them where they fall, carry or drag them to the lava and deposit them. Because dead Cultists count, you do not need to herd live enemies into the crater, which would be far riskier.

Spread the 150 across many sessions instead of forcing it in one night. Keep a running mental tally, prioritize Volcano maps when they appear, and clear nearby Cultist camps so each trip yields several deposits. Treat it as a background objective and it will complete itself without ever putting your survival at risk.
